E-Waste Management

With technical and financial support from IICD, Close the Gap and CfSK, we ventured into a pilot project to manage the collection and dismantling of 1000 pieces of obsolete computers (e-waste). This was aimed at helping educational institutions get rid of the end of life computer



With financial support from IICD, We embarked on teacher training in schools that received computers from us under the Close the Gap program. Under the project, over 300 secondary school teachers from western Uganda and west Nile regions were trained in the use of ICT

Computers 4 Schools

Since 2008, Close the Gap International has been supporting us by providing computers to schools for educational purposes and over 1500 computers have been distributed to 85 schools.. With the government embracing ICT at secondary school level.

We are running a pilot on Provision of affordable laptops to teachers to accelerate the use of ICT for teaching and learning. Over 250 laptops have been distributed to schools to help teachers access and use ICT for improved productivity and efficiency in performing their routine tasks at the school.
